The Last Voyage of Demeter - adaptation of Chapter 7 of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The voyage of Dracula by cargo ship from Bulgaria to England, based on the captain's log.

A decent adaptation and a well made gothic horror. Interesting to see a film about one part of the book usually skipped over.

7/10

watched it tonight enjoyed it

probably go 7.8

definitely not the best one

I enjoyed the other 2 equally tbh

one thing missing in the 3rd one was where he always scopes the room and identifies all the danger points in the scenario

Denzel was good though

I always enjoy a Denzel movie

Denzil is high standard.

There are probably films he's made that would've been bang average if he hadn't been in them.

Man on Fire is one that's underrated. Great film largely down to him.

Ah man how do you choose the fave Denzil film.

No particular order I'll add Malcolm X, Philadelphia, Crimson Tide, Man on Fire, Much Ado About Nothing, just too many to think of.

So after Denzil, I'm now watching Discovering Film on Sky Arts and they're doing Harrison Ford's whole filmography. Another actor with a career of great films.

Going to watch these Equaliser films, think I watched the first one when it came out and didn't think much of it but might not have been in the mood or something. Never seen 2 so that'll be new to me.

If we use She Said as the barometer of your recent ratings then it's a defo 9.5/10

Bit weird this, but was this evening chatting about TV and films and such like and someone mentioned The Equaliser films.

I didn't know they existed with Denzel Washington, never heard of them. Will have to have a look.

Hadn't read this part of the thread btw.
