Interesting to see how we respond 2nd half. The boys need firing up big time. I'd rather see another couple of yellow cards because we are getting stuck into them, than watch us sitting back and hoping something might change. More energy and desire needed.

 

I'm beginning to think Newcastle were successful because the game was stop start. They basically reinvented the sport this season and Newcastle having been the club with the least amount of ball in play time are simply to slow.

One thing is for certain, Newcastle are going to have to work extremely hard to get back into this.

Brighton are unbeaten in their last 24 English Premier League matches when leading at half-time (W20, D4) dating back to 9th May 2021 against Wolverhampton Wanderers (L1-2).
