Very very early in the season to get any idea of where any club will finish.. Look at Norwich, got off to a flyer only to be beaten by Rotherham.. The Championship at its unpredictable best!!
Which is why the likes of Neil Warnock would never fit in for us as he tells it like it is and isn’t a yes man.
And they’ve started with 3 straight defeats so I think it unlikely that he’ll get much time in the first team
Bristol City's scourge of Swansea hopes to be back for more as he makes it a week to remember Bristol City match-winner Sam Bell is on the standby list for the England Under-21 squad https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-citys-scourge-swansea-hopes-8725771
Selfishly I’d rather it didn’t happen until SL decides to return to his previous generous ways, otherwise it will just mean he has to subside the club less.
That's a fair shout. It's becoming increasingly obvious that SL is looking to recoup some of the money he has pumped into the club over the years, through player sales. This, as you say might go the same way. It's beginning to look like SL will only fund new player fees and wages with self generating revenue from the club, and not through player sales. Is this to shore up his position if new investment comes in, or a sale of BCFC?
Depends on his final selling price from us. Rumours are between 14 million or 17 million. If 17 then we get £600 k

Starting to do the rounds, which imo is a big mistake.not doing himself any favours.. Some time abroad might have been more beneficial, not managing necessarily, but learning different styles of coaching etc.
I do think I remember SL saying a few years ago that his aim would be to set the club up to be self sufficient. Probably the reason for not looking to plough millions as he had in the past.. Seeing some clubs splashing the millions to nearly going out of business, you have to say is quite sensible!!
He’s always been good in front of an interview panel. As 1for says though I would have expected him to take a break from football for a while. Still, it gives us something to talk about during the international break
He's naturally finding his level, my guess, as he was a player, he'll end up at Yeovil. If he goes abroad Gibraltar might be a good fit, they wanted him as a player. R&W, I'm sure, will give him the necessary glowing references.
he certainly did .. hence the new stadium rebuild the delayed plans for hotel and housing the money he stumped up fpr Failand his deep pockets have always been a way out ... but as the saying goes ... the buck stops here!!!!!!!
