The Chairboys take the short trip to Northamptonshire to take on the Cobblers at the Sixfield Stadium looking for successive wins on the road and as we are without a game for a fortnight the points on the board will be very important. Matty is still looking to bolster his squad with Uche Ikpeazu's imminent arrival at the same time as Hanlan's departure and maybe a rabbit out of the hat. This is a game I was looking forward to going to being just down the road but I have a family party to attend l I may catch the first half before I depart and let's hope the lads can find the net in this one unlike in midweek when we could have played all night and still not scored not helped by the officials all backing the underdog
I hope so he is the only forward with any real pace about him, leaving him out Tuesday wasn't a good idea
Don't win on a Saturday for months then win two on the trot & both away from home, well done the team.
F/T Northampton 0 Wycombe 1,how the hell did we win that with only 1 shot on target,by the sound of it Max was outstanding in goal.
Still not sure about the formation but you can’t argue with the results (excluding Sutton). If we had snuck a 1-0 at home against Burton we would be joint top. Players still adapting, Vokes again didn’t have a full pre season, hoping a break will do him and everyone else some good. Loanees need time and these victories have brought MB that. Overall, we are doing better than I expected and I still see loads of room for improvement. Happy days.
Also, reading some of the qpr fans forums, they now seem to be backing GA. They are loving the never say die attitude. It could be a wonderful season if GA and MB succeed.
I would hold fire a little bit we have beaten two mid-table sides & one down the bottom & been well beaten by two sides above us. It is looking far better than before the Bristol Rovers game though
