Yeah you're right actually, wouldn't have made any difference if he hadn't played.

    Thank god Ballard was fine.

So much for my prediction of a narrow defeat. What the hell do I know about football!! Amazing performance by all the lads today. I was pleased for Ba having been very critical of him in the past few games. Gutted for Hemir but I think we will develop into being a fantastic player for us! We’ll done lads, take a bow!

You would've thought Stewart would've come on the pitch at half time to say goodbye to the fans with us being in such a good mood at 3-0 up!

I know a couple of people who know him a little bit, not great mates or anything just indirectly know him from when he was here, and they say he's a great bloke who enjoyed his time here and always speaks well of us as a club and as fans. Why he's turned into such a prick as a pundit is anyone's guess.

If Jewi does nothing else in his Safc career. Imo he's got legendary status right there.

When I saw their line up I fancied us. Gutted I didn’t throw more money on! They’ve been scraping results playing poor and we’ve been playing well but looked a bit toothless before today. Think we were due to thump someone but I didn’t expect it to be these!

Looked like we started out with 3 at the back first half which I’ve been very vocal about not being a fan of but it worked well. I think it was @Scout73 who mentioned Ba playing as a wing back for France, looked really effective.

What a ****ing result to introduce the new lads into the squad just before the international break anarl. Mogga now has a selection dilemma on his hands when players are fit again.

    Let’s get pissed :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Neil quietly dominated that game and let Ekwah , Ba and Clarke play.

He was absolutely superb just that it wasn’t the headline stuff. Was saying to my pal his positional awareness has stepped up and that makes it look so easy.

    Brilliant he was.

    Thanks mate.

    Believe me, that really helps.

We're all part of a society and dependent on each other ...

... I've drawn a lot of strength from people on here and other Sunderland mates.

Incredible performance. Ballard was a rock, Clarke was quality and Ba ran his arse off. Ekwah just shaded motm for me I thought he was immense in the muddle of the park. I absolutely need to see those 360s from Jewi again for Riggs goal. <laugh><laugh>

Been a fabulous last 24hrs for us tbh.

Speakman must be sitting in the boardroom going “I am a genius” <laugh>

Give him a new deal (assuming his contract may expire like other staff members).
