Bournemouth triggered the Adams relegation clause too late so we’re forced to pay £24m to get the deal done. Seems Bournemouth have got their own back and used a disputed relegation clause and got a £35m player for free

 

And we get to make him into a proper player before giving him back to Bournemouth

2 players Leeds were trying to get will probably be the players that keep the blunts in the premier league (if they can) Cameron Archer 2 goals and Gustavo Hamer who scored last week and creates goals for fun and maybe the blunts best player today.

 

Best you can say about that Wendies game is that FARKE all really needs upgrading now. Spence looks like a massive upgrade over Bill who didn’t defend badly but also not defended well. His forward play should have been better but he squandered a couple of chances and he had no end product going forward. On the other side Shaks doesn’t want to upset Gnonto so they both run out of ideas. Summerville hold the ball just too much and always takes the wrong option when holding it too long that means we get no decent ball into danger areas from out wide on both sides. It also means we have a 9 and 10 not involved for big parts of the game. Emu said it on another thread, its like watching Wengers Arsenal doing tippy tappy and going nowhere.

A clean sheet though but it just shows that journeymen nobbers like Barry Bannon can kill you and also shows we should have had someone like him. Yes we may already have him but can’t wait to see how Gueve and Kamara come on now. Hoping to see Ayling sitting on the bench as Spence showed something special in the few minutes he had on. Cannot fault Rutter or Piroe they need the ball and yes Rutter could have done better with the one chance he got, but.

Yes we can all carry on talking about it being. Good window and we can carry on talking about promotion. But we really need a reality check unless we start to sort out how to play against the low block. We have scored 7 but need to score between 70 and 100 and we have a 0 goal difference. We are still 7 points off the top and sitting in 15th.
