I think I get it.... in the event (god forbid!) Ingram has to come off, Allsopp isn't fit enough to play say 30 minutes, so we need a fully fit 3rd choice keeper to substitute him when he's knackered..
I really hope someone has the balls to ask LR why he's done it over naming a youngster who's been busting his arse in training etc who deserves to gain the experience of what it's like to be in the squad on match day
Bit weird that Connolly starts after the manager said he was building him up slowly. Even weirder that Rosenior kept saying Sinik was nowhere near fitness and he’s suddenly on the bench. A welcome surprise though. If he’s here for the foreseeable, I’d like to see him given a chance. Barring Docherty and the new signings, this is pretty close to a fully-fit squad now, and there’s two keepers on the bench. A few injuries and we look dangerously short.
