Away from home against the better teams in the league you gotta be pragmatic. We’re not that good just because we’ve scraped some good results against poorer teams. Charles, Downes sitting with Smallbone in front Or Charles sitting with Downes and Smallbone in front. We’ve got to hope that THB can come in and help improve us at CB, but we need more cover in front of them too. Would have hoped we learnt that from just playing Smallbone against Norwich and being constantly wide open, and then miraculously looking much better when Charles came on second half.
No I haven't and of course the high line is definitely going to see us face a lot of counter attacks. But Norwich scored some really good goals in that game.. Holgate has made mistakes in 3 of the goals so far and generally looks all over the place. Manning who was a shambles against Norwich now has a shambles next to him. We look dreadful down our left hand side right now.
One positive thought, this is likely a line up influenced by all of the upheaval this week. Imagine we will look pretty different by the next game.
Holgate has always been ****. Shocking player. I don’t understand what we saw in him. It’s obvious to anyone with eyes
Our 11 goals conceded is the worst in the championship. Something to work on in the next couple of weeks, get THB in ASAP
