Been scouting around trying to learn a bit more about Anthony and why FARKE would want him. Scott Parker liked him a lot and can play wing back so could be Emus new mate?

Jaidon Anthony is a very talented young player. A product of Arsenal’s prestigious Hale End academy, he has been with Bournemouth since 2016 and played a big part in helping them achieve promotion last year.

Scott Parker, who was the manager at the time, was a huge fan of Anthony. He felt the winger is someone who just never gets enough credit.

He told Bournmouth’s website in March last year: “Jaidon Anthony’s a player that goes under the radar massively, what he does for this team is nothing short of incredible at times.

“In possession, we see his qualities, his calmness, his silkiness when he makes good decisions but the stuff that goes unnoticed is his defensive side, what he brings to this team.

Anthony will do do for me. Sini can go do one. Any player who would threaten legal action on his club disgusts me

… seems he played in a nominally defensive role last season. So he’s right footed left winger who also plays right wing back.

It’s great we have cover for Spence and Ayling. Shame he’s not a FLFFLFB

So based on Farkes comments was he conned by Snake Eyes Sini into thinkimg he was going to stay or was he towing the party line.

If Snake Eyes was indeed threatening legal action then **** him - don't want him back.

No doubt Willy has been taking notes but it seems we have him until January at least.

Anybody know anything about this Jaidon geezer? Sounds like he was a reluctant volunteer which bodes well....not.

If they want to send him back for treatment of an injury they are entitled to do so, but they can't just cancel the loan agreement for that reason.

If Sini breaks his leg tomorrow tripping over the bag of cash they are paying him, then under FA rules, they can't cancel a season long loan agreement until the next transfer window, and then we also have to be agreeable to the cancellation.

Even if all that took place and he was fit to play, FA rules don't allow any player who is on a season long loan to return and play for his parent club. Any player in these circumstances, would only be able to play again that season, by joining a club on another season long loan at the next available transfer window

Leicester likely to make it five from five today so they are the benchmark. We only got our first win last week and still conceded three. Our defence still concerns me.

When and if we start keeping some clean sheets I might start to believe we can challenge for top 6 at least.

Bournemouth will be in a relegation struggle and we all know the character of the players they’ve taken from us in that scenario. Adams and Sinisterra will be plotting their exit with their agent as we speak <ok>

Apparently the delay yesterday was the fact Anthony wasn’t our first choice, it was an unnamed player who refused to join us.

They refused to join and scared the deal would collapse Bournemouth suggested Anthony. It’s not clear whether we initially felt Anthony was out of our grasp.

Anthony + Loan fee and £25m option to buy but again unclear where that leaves us with Anthony becoming permanent

well hopefully that's it only the Saudi's can pull anything up now. this squad now has to get us to new year still happy with our forward line end of day everyone couldn't play and it was sods law one would go. all the ones who have went out on loan I never want to see again. hope some fall flat on their faces and get relegated. I like Sini but he stabbed us in the back at the end time to crack on now and put our season back on track.

Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Jaidon Anthony on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

The 23-year-old arrives at Elland Road from AFC Bournemouth, in a deal which will see Luis Sinisterra head in the opposite direction to the Vitality Stadium, for the remainder of the campaign.

Nobody from LUFC has wished Sinistetta good luck so far at Bournemouth.

He doesn't deserve it the back stabbing cnut.

Used the kerfuffle kicked-up by Willy to get away with it.

there’s a good article from hay in the athletic today re the window in general and the sinisterra deal. The one thing not covered was the buy option. £25m is too cheap but sounds like the level a release clause in the event of relegation would be set at. Surely if we were relenting and allowing him to go to avoid legal disputes we could have negotiated on that point at least.

Apparently the argument was that Nice allegedly triggered the loan release clause before the end date. We declined it… for some reason hence the argument and legal challenge.

I wondered whether the unnamed player might have been hamed Traore… who we enquired about last year and is a skilful 10 and we were clearly after a 10. Seems he’s fit and first choice at Bournemouth now though… so maybe we set our sights lower

Agreed, we turned down £20m for Willie and Summerville so it makes no sense why we’d accept the loan and option offer for Sinisterra

My conclusion from that short clip is he takes a lot of corners where they didn't score and gets fouled a lot.

Let's see how he actually performs for us before making any judgements. :emoticon-0136-giggl
