At the beginning of the season there were many calls for Jackman to be moved on. At the moment he is playing well and is repaying the faith of the manager to keep him at the club. Hopefully his injury issues are behind him and he'll be able to continue his good form. Well done Danny keep up the good work.
he was good for me in preseason, but i think it was a case of when you looked at the options he was always second fiddle in every position, be it cm, lm or lb. however as has been said he has been solid all season and if kuffour hadnt scored a hatrick against northampton he would have been mom easily, the amount of ball he nicked off bayos toes as he brought them down was brilliant. top player getting his for back from when he first moved here from northampton, shames hes not a foot taller with the same ability!!
In the one game I've seen this season at Morecambe he played left back, and frankly was uninpressive. It's useful to have a 'utlity' player, but on the basis of that performance, and his lack of height, think that midfield would suit him better. What position did he play against Nothampton?
cdm kinda the payne role, for me i think he looks most useful when playing with spiller (shame hes injured) down the left as they interchange a lot giving the right side of the opposition lots of problems. he is also by far one of the best dead ball players we have
Left mid is his place, he is great in that position and can be our best player for that position, Class act at times.
