He had a relegation clause to go out on loan. Leeds then maxed out the players out on loan internationally so when Feyenoord triggered his loan clause the rules said he couldn't go. Then the lawyers got involved after a "termination clause" was found as Leeds couldn't honour the contract (which included the loan clause). The legal teams concluded that a loan was still possible but only domestically i.e to another English club and therefore his contract was still valid. Bournemouth have activated that clause and here we go. Dunno if any of that is true but it's how somebody explained it to me. Basically we were nearly at a point where he could just tear his contract up and he was a free agent.
Also, Bournemouth can only loan 2 players or something. They already have 1 player in on loan and Daka is verging on signing as we speak which would be their 2nd loan. Dunno the rules on that. Might just be fans stamping their feet. Either way it has Orta stamped all over it.
Who'd have thunk it! ....for me the player isn't showing much ambition going to a **** show that's Everton and a retirement home town where the ultras have blue rinses
Reports said if they couldn’t get Gnonto they would try for Sinisterra. If he had that clause why not trigger it instead of taking Harrison. If the domestic / international thing is correct he’s been available for at least two weeks. All very odd.
Sky stating loan option to buy for Daka, they’d have to purchase their loan keeper if they want Sinisterra on loan. I think we’re either considering selling him for big money and we’ll bring in someone else with the thought he’s injury prone and we do have Gnonto and Summerville or it’s all a load of click bait ****. Sky have gone quiet on Sinisterra but they’re all over the Daka story
Southampton get Harwood-Ellis on loan obligation to buy for £20m if promoted, I’d have been pleased with that deal for us
