not possible because of work permit but this guy would be the ideal striker for us http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgar_Bruno_Silva
Our main worry at the moment is finishing chances, therefore we should be looking to bring in a new striker, preferably one who is big, strong and can score goals. Madine would be a very good signing. It'd also be good to see us add a little more depth to our squad with the addition of a couple of defenders and possibly another midfielder.
All I said was that he doesn't deserve the endless criticism. I never said he should start more often, I just think stupid people are attracted to him when they need something to moan about. I'd also use him as an impact player. Certainly agree with this bit, but I object when people single Dele out as though he's any worse than the others. On the subject of Evans, Ranger and Madine and their off-the-pitch baggage; maybe we need to get McLean and Fryatt into some criminal activity, being innocent is hardly helping them hit the net is it?
I was hugely in his favour at the time and I still stand by it that I would have happily forgone McLean and Fryatt and brought in Charlie Austin instead. COYH
Allam has promised 1 mill. for the transfer window in January, plus we will get close to 1 mill. from Leicester, and hopefully another 1 mill. for Olofinjana . With 3 mill. to spend we should be able to get a decent striker or fast winger who can score. I like young Noone at Brighton...he caused us fits when he came on as a sub in our game down there. Maynard may be a possibility. Even FC on loan as reports are he's almost ready to play. We probably have a reasonable chance of getting Brady on a permanent for 750k, although NP will take Waggy back to Leicester. Could free up Nugent? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15777618.stm
Im sorry Tigerned, i wouldnt take Frazier back, he has done nothing since leaving city other than sitting on the bench have a few games then gets injured! IMO he will not play as good as we saw him in a tigers shirt, as he is too injury prone now.
Interesting comment from AP in the YP today. However, Hull director of football operations Adam Pearson insists: “Those players want to be here and are happy to play for Nick. “The only way any players will be leaving is to good Premier League clubs. At the minute, Leicester are below us in the league and I have not seen any evidence at all that their chairman has bigger pockets than ours.”
