Hopefully we can take the Millwall and Hull performances across the bridge to Swansea. Clearly goals are a issue and that is something the club is not going to rectify before the window closes. We will do well to take a point or three-Our strikers need to pull their socks up and start producing.
‘Written all over it’ – Swansea City v Bristol City prediction: The72 https://the72.co.uk/2023/08/31/written-all-over-it-swansea-city-v-bristol-city-prediction-the72/
Seeing as it’s 12:30 any know if it’ll be on robins tv, unfortunately I’d have to put up with listening to Downsy and that commentator who’s name escapes me but hey ho.
I don’t know for sure, but doubt it, it’s only early due to police I believe just checked and IT IS AVAILABLE ON RTV
Does anybody know the name of the Radio Bristol commentators for the game at Hull? The man of the duo had some great comments about where our club is at right now and was critical of our plays and set-up which we don't get from the Robins TV crew. Are they one and the same people? The Swansea match will be a 4:00 a.m. wake up call for me out here on the west coast but I will be my usual grumpy self and only a win will settle my aching heart.
Match stats for tomorrow We may as well start looking ahead to tomorrow's game so here are some facts and figures... Swansea have won three of their last four home league matches against City (L1), winning 2-0 last season. City have picked up just one point in their last four league games against Swansea (D1 L3), a 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate last season. Swansea are yet to win a league match this season (D2 L2) – they last opened a league campaign with no wins from their first five matches in 1991-92 in the third tier (D1 L4). City have won two of their last three away league matches (D1), as many wins as they had picked up from their previous 11 such games on the road (D4 L5). Despite not featuring until the 61st minute of their second game, Charlie Patino leads all Swansea City players for chances created (8) and assists (2) in the Championship this season.
We inflicted their first ever home defeat at their shiny new Liberty Stadium. Even Sparkey and his buddies might be supporting us for the duration of this game
I think it's mutual tbh, yes we're lucky to have him, but equally, he's lucky to have us as a club, and SL as a boss. Last season, managers were getting fired all over the Championship, and we stuck with him when things looked bleak. most other clubs would have fired him.
I've always thought highly of SL but can't understand this deathly hush from above. Only a short while SL said something like 'what football sales generate will be ploughed back into football'. Back then, around season cards on sale, City fans were speculating 'if we get £20plus million for Scott then we'd afford 2 or 3 decent/top championship players'. Pearson can't understand it, when asked he's told 'Journos' to ask the board. City fans can't understand either. Genuinely think SL wants rid of NP.
