People keep signing Iwobi thinking he is going to miraculously come good. Dunno what some of these PL scouts / recruitment teams get paid for. I’m 99% certain I could do a better job than most of them

Yep me too. And just as importantly a very decent squad. We have all the ingredients to keep winning 3 games out of 4 and that = promotion. The system, the depth and the experience we now have make that very possible Just one more real goal threat now if Che goes ..
We did the same thing last season, signed a lot of promising players and had a good squad but no friggin striker and no goal scorers. We better not make the same mistake again is all I’m thinking.

Glad to read Mara is staying, Will have a really good opportunity this September to cement himself as our first choice striker until Stewart is back fit.
I'm with you on that, but hopefully we will sign one or two. Also, this league is more forgiving than the premier league, we will create chances for everyone, so maybe the strikers will get support.
And, fairly importantly in my view, he won this league losing only 3 games last season before captaining his country to a win conceding next to nothing for the u21. Screams winner and if we are to sign youngsters then these are the ones I want!
As I said last night, our defence and midfield is good enough to have us competing at the top end of the league. The strike force, assuming Adams goes, is a big question mark and it would be very foolish to not address it before the window shuts. I believe we will, with Stewart + 1 more. Stewart, Mara, Armstrong and one other should be enough to achieve our goals
