The new added-time rules in English football are "absurd" and will not be used in European competitions, according to Uefa's chief of football Zvonimir Boban. England's refereeing body the PGMOL has opted to use longer amounts of stoppage time from this season in order to reduce time-wasting and better account for goal celebrations, substitutions and injuries.
Haha it was a hard decision between him and the flopper thought Rashford would spend less time rolling on the floor to be able to score a goal now and then.
Chelsea who famously wear blue have released their away kit which we all know is used to make sure colour flashes don’t happen. Any guesses for what colour their away kit is? Yup a slightly different shade of blue
Well that's Newcastle's CL lasting till December Group F: Paris St-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, NEWCASTLE Groups in full: Group A: Bayern Munich, MANCHESTER UNITED, FC Copenhagen, Galatasaray Group B: Sevilla, ARSENAL, PSV Eindhoven, RC Lens Group C: Napoli, Real Madrid, Braga, Union Berlin Group D: Benfica, Inter Milan, Salzburg, Real Sociedad Group E: Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, CELTIC Group F: Paris St-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, NEWCASTLE Group G: MANCHESTER CITY, RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade, Young Boys Group H: Barcelona, Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Royal Antwerp
Its no surprise, no Coefficient means you are ranked like Young Boys & Antwerp and get the hard draw.
They quite literally took our spot in the Champions League this year, they even got the toughest group! That would have been our group! City and Arse got decent draws. United's should be manageable but a challenge for them to get 2nd.
Is it just me or do those groups look predictable who will progress? Send to be a lack of quality looking through them... Apart from group F of course, but maybe that's why the other groups look easier, for big sides in one group.
So who's going to predict the two sides in the final? I'm going with an all Spanish - Barcelona v Real.
Impossible to predict. We can all predict results based on the teams involved but this prediction also involves a supposedly "random" draw... I'll go Real v Man City
yeah newcastle really shouldn't get out of that group. I wouldn't necessarily back utd to cruise through in 2nd place either. the rest of it reminds me of why a European super league would be dull. there's very few games there to catch the eye.
we would have been in pot 2 that has knock on effects right down the seedings and it's be totally different
Newcastle were unlikely to win it so why not get all the big teams and enjoy the European nights! Also 3 trips to Paris Dortmund and Milan. Couldn’t pick 3 closer places to travel to, plus 3 big city’s to explore Psg bit of an unknown now. Still have mbappe but gone towards more young French players and no messi or neymar. Dortmund again in a bit of transition after losing bellingham and ac Milan aren’t the team they once were. 3rd would be great for Newcastle being 4th ranked team but woukdnt put it past them winning a couple home games v milan and Dortmund and sneaking 2nd
that's a good way to look at it for the beheaders on tour. hopefully some of the good lads have an away trip out of it as they are all good trips but there's danger in two of those as well. must be said.
Europa league draw tomorrow based on co-efficient toughest we could get is LFC Sporting Molde Toulouse easiest LFC Qarabag Sturm Graz Hacken (Swedish team) Best based on co-efficient and location for travel LFC Betis (Spain) Union SG (Belgium) Serviette (Swiss)
