They lock on to the back of the plasterboard, so if they don't unlock then I'd imagine you can't push it through, well unless you want a bigger hole in you wall lol.

It's the metal at the front that makes it difficult the bits like a flower petal.

I used them many years ago on a previous property, like you I would never use them again.

They push through easily. Can only think they've been put on a dot and dab plasterboard wall which means you can't push them through because you'll be pushing them against brick or block.

How do you push them through if they've got 4 petals, because the hole would need to be as big as the petals, so if you are saying make the hole bigger then fair enough. Agree with your point about dot and dab btw, because although I didn't know the name for it, that's what I was thinking brick or block behind it.

Yeah, just put a wide slotted screwdriver on it and use a hammer to bash it through. Only needs to be a few mm, enough to get some filler on top.

Just got the rads to put on, a light switch to move and add a single socket.
I've decided to route the radiator pipes through the loft and down the wall rather than under the floor.
Thing is, we have a wasps nest in the loft. It's been there all summer and should be gone in a couple of weeks.
When they've gone it will all be done in a matter of days <whistle>

I'm having a mare. Room is all painted but where I'm doing the edging top and bottom the paint is drying a different colour (different shade) thought it might be a dirty brush so I've redone it and same.

Im guessing you've done the cutting in with Brush and not rolled it with a small roller straight after.

Yeah I've always just done it with a brush. Could I go over it with a small roller?

Only other reason i can see that happening is youve used the brush from the tin and not mixed it up well enough, then poured the rest onto a tray and rolled it.
