I know some people don't like loans but I think we've utilised the loan market exceptionally well. Downes, Fraser and THB add real quality to the squad and at the very least Holgate adds depth to an important position.
Loans clearly the way to go this season. Very hard to buy players on perm deals who can make the step up to the Prem, which should be our aim. Just have to see if we do get promoted how much we spend next summer with presumably a lot of cash banked this summer. But that isn’t something to think about now
One more slot available. I guess it is being held in case something is needed last minute? Options would be Striker, RW or RB if KWP goes (the last minute part mentioned)
Remain ? I thought this was another one that our fans had come up with rather than earlier links €8m was initially the price set earlier in the summer. Not sure if this has come down due to it not being taken up. Frozen out by Bologna apparently
Perhaps, unless Dyche wants two new wide players (in addition to already having McNeil from Burnley) in which case Cornet could be a straight loan and Sulemana either a buy or an option-to-buy.
For me now I'd just like us to announce THB, get a good deal for ABK and then turn off the fax machine until Saturday.
Agreed. Bazunu is confirmed as lead keeper. THB would complete our defence. Central Mid and attacking Mid have enough, although the club appear to still be looking at these. Forward line is good enough as long as there are no outgoings.
