As in, they’re trying to find someone better and they know he’s a bit ****, but if they get really desperate they will have £15m and know they can get him.
The bizarre thing about Wolves at the moment is that they've decided they're too good for Podence, who for his flaws was their joint-top scorer (and one of only two players to manage more than 3 PL goals last year), and yet are looking at Che becoming their primary attacking focus. That's a choice.
Which of their strikers is moving on though? They have the big money one that was made permanent from loan last year. Then Sasa who got the bad injury against us. The Korean whose name I can’t remember and finally the kid who is modern day Bebe (inflated fee to pay off agents) who was previously their record signing Now obviously I’ve described a motley crew there but there are still 4. Do they play 2 up or 1? Most play 1
I think Cunha is the one you're referring to being on loan before? They like him as more of a wide player, ditto Hwang Hee-chan, which leaves them with Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva, I think.
Slight variation on before. This is the “we’re getting turned down by loads of players and, ‘oh ****’, we might have to sign Che Adams.” 3 and 3 quarter stars. The Wolves effort was more traditional.
ITK on Saintsweb believes the THB medical was yesterday. And also states that no one has come in the KWP but like with most of our players he will go if his price is met. Might explain why there is no kicking off if there isn’t even a sniff of interest. Are there any Prem clubs that might panic buy a full back? Or have needed one and might suddenly get the funds ?
Insane if KWP stays. Absolutely insane. Will be the best player in the championship for his position. I can’t believe clubs don’t have him as a first choice target for RB or LB.
We signed 4 players on deadline day last year. And we only knew about them a day before because Joe Shields was actively leaking to Fabrizio
