We should lobby the club to include allowing replay of full matches and other club news/interviews for annual subscribers. They'll obviously know that iFollow had that combo all included with subscription - hence they have actually put the price up significantly for less features. Mass protest called for - would Acun relent?
I haven't had any issues with the new service, only occasionally struggling to find the match as it isn't as easy as previously, but no issues with the picture or sound.
Full match replays are included in the annual subscription, I've watched multiple already this season without the additional subscription.
Finally managed to access replays of full matches, played at least 18 days ago (Sheff Wed). Did this by going to BROWSE tab once I'd logged in.Searched through the videos and related videos to find the individual back matches. Note: I have had the annual subscription option since a couple of days before season k.o. and I don't recall having seen the BROWSE function until today. No signs of the replay of the opening season game @ Norwich though.
Browse function has been there the entire time, as that's initially what I used to try to find live matches. Scroll down click 'Load More' below Sheff Weds and you'll see Doncaster full match replay. Keep scrolling, click 'Load More' and you'll see Norwich.
Interesting. In the last couple of hours I clicked on the "Load More" button, the system only took me back to archived stuff a couple of days before the Sheff Wed game. After reading your current note, I backed out of watching the Wednesday match, re-entered BROWSE function and have been presented with more than one "Load More" prompts and hence many more pages of archived vids. Very strange. Anyway, thanks for prompting me to revisit the navigation routes, which seems to have refreshed data access.
They do already. 5.99 extra a month. That with the fiver audio, or tenner a game video package ain't exaclty extortionate, considering the heavily subsidised matchday and membership prices, That's if you want to support the club rather than ripping it off on firestick. Or do you just want something off the club for nowt? You think they owe you for content or something?
You don't need to spend the 5.99. As above, full match replays are already available, as are post match pressers, etc. It's not for nothing, it's for the already quite high fee people are paying (it costs me more to watch City games than to watch every single PL game for the season, or multiple Australian sports on another service, or Netflix, etc. And I'm happy to pay it because I want to watch City, but it's a large fee).
Your 'large fee' costs **** all compared to actually going. Good that they include the other bollocks that's free on humberside and HDM so not necessary really so you dont pay the 5.99 on an international sub though. But I totted up 9 home and 5 away last season, with travel, the audio pack for games I couldn't get to and the odd tenner live stream and I was in for more than a couple of grand, so I'm hardly gonna be sympathetic about the price of 2 cheap pints a month for interviews with bells and whistles on then am I? What pisses me off though is fletch being a mincer and **** compared to Burnsy, dead air at half time, no build up and the fact I haven't been able yet to watch or listen to a game on the new service that hasn't dropped out or buffered yet, so you have to reload generally when we're defending something or attacking something and it just breaks the continuity. It's not about the money, but if I'm paying I want something as good or better than humberside listeners get for free in the local area and what I pay for remotely is not as good as that.
As a matter of interest, which streaming service do you use for PL games? I use fuboTV which carries every live PL game (which are archived and accessible), $200 Can. for an annual subscription. If I watched every match for a season that's roughly $0.26 per game ! I probably watch 75% of the games played each week. Italian, French PL equivalents are also included in the annual deal.
Who the **** cares how much it cares to go? That's not what I said. I also said I'm happy to pay it. Piss off.
Optus Sports down here is $15 a month, or about 8-9 quid. Sounds like a similar price as that annual subscription you're paying for (depending on fX). I regularly watch 2-3 games a week plus some of the shows (MOTD equivalent) I'll watch during the week. So from a 'value' perspective, it's miles ahead of Tigers+. Of course I'll pay for Tigers+ because it's the chance to watch City, but economies of scale mean that the PL product is vastly cheaper than ours. The point wasn't to moan about the cost, it was to say that diminishing the amount people are paying for City is churlish at best. People are paying a large amount of money for a streaming product which is of course a very different experience to going live.
Stump up, come over and tell us to piss off. I didn't say you weren't willing to pay it it but whining about it? Really? It's not as though it isn't just the enhanced version of stuff that's available for free anyway via other platforms and you get it included anyway, so what's your issue? But ultimately, its ****ing peanuts. Again with the defensive Bro. Seek help.
I bought a season pass and spent three months in the UK watching City back in 13/14. Think the trip cost me 5k+ in the end. Is that enough money stumped up? My issue is you saying that expecting full match replays to be included in the basic subscription (which it is..) is expecting something for nothing is daft when it's not for nothing it's for the money that we are paying. And it is included. So this whole conversation is idiotic. And ultimately having to pay 200 quid for the season is not peanuts, it's a lot of money compared to other streaming services, which is what I'm comparing it to because that's what it is. I'm not paying to sit in the stands, I'm paying to watch a match streamed on my computer. I don't think you know what being 'defensive' is. I'm calling you out for insulting posting, I'm not getting defensive. Move on.
I'm lobbying Acun to send his jet over here to ferry me to and fro across the pond to all the games (home and away) for the season. Gratis.
Absolutely! You should get chairman's suite and all with a free pass to the next Turkiye trip to boot.
Do you get match replays with your sub without paying 5.99 gbp a month extra or is it as you said in with your international, sub? If its the former it's 1.50 a week, itlf it's the latter you're creating a drama out of nothing. If you're taking insult to the idea the club needs to make money somewhere and sooner or later the fans need to sustain it rather than expect benefactors to just get grief for spunking millions more than the fan base is willing to support the you need to wobble your head sunna. And I'm trying to be nice.
You get extended highlights as well as the full game both live and afterwards without paying the £5.99.
Last year you got extended highlights on youtube, now you get ****ty short highlights. I don't think they'll make more money from it. Paying for Ifollow was simply about watching a match live.
At the end of the day iFollow is primarily designed for overseas fans who can't go to games, with a secondary market for mid-week games that supporters can't travel to. Meaning it's always been intended as just a means to watch live (or watch on replay if you can't watch live, although the delay between the match finishing and the full replay going up is somewhat excessive).
