Was in the supermarket with me bird looking at the frozen fish, have you seen the price of cod these days... So I pointed to the hake and said "that's cheap, we should get that". Bird said "Oh no, that's cheap and nasty, that won't do" at which point a woman stood next to us turned round and said in a rather posh voice "Excuse me. My husband and I often eat hake and we think it is a particularly tasty fish.". That was us told.

 

Ye had me hooked up until the 'me bird' bit.

 

Yeah well, I am the anecdote king. I started going out with a bird a few weeks ago. First started going out with her 20 years ago. Was going out with her for 17 of those 20 years. Never really felt like we had split up but apparently we had. Birds eh?

 

I was in the fish shop the other day and a guy came into the shop with a fish under his arm and he asked the guy behind the counter if they had any fishcakes and the guy said no, then the guy replied, pointing to the fish under his arm, "that's a shame, it's his birthday today!"
