I guess some might have been staying away amid interest from the top 2 German sides as they didn’t see the point in trying to rival them
Only team I can see now for Che is Wolves. Bournemouth still have Solanke. Wolves will have some money to spend once City sign Nunes.
Saw a comment about this on Twitter earlier which made me laugh “now the Nunes deal looks to be complete I expect the Che Adams and *insert **** players name* deals are back on the table” “Somebody break the table”
Whenever I see the words Che and Wolves, I remember last year the way he missed from 2 inches out and punched it into the net when it was easier to head it…..
I'm guessing Wolves fans are also remembering. They can't exactly be drooling at the thought of signing him.
It is getting close to the point that players who want out might try and force their hand.and that will creep out in public, so far most have stayed professional, with at worse some questionable injuries. At the start of the window I thought Tino, Charly, ABK & Sulemana might be priced out of moves as they all had certain risks for the £25m + market. whatever happens I hope SR don’t let anyone go without a decent replacement. Most of these guys might have a mini strop, but I think they’ll soon knuckle down
It didn’t ever sound like it was an issue with us and him in terms of personal terms. More the clauses, so maybe we’ve just met that or paid a bit more/offered to pay some of Onuachu wages
Dear Tom, Please don't in any way feel tempted to post something along the lines of "I really respect how Charly Alcaraz hasn't made any noises about wanting to move. I can't see him going in this window". Best regards, Everyone
Another twist and I can't help but feel it isn't the last one. Sounds like a very complicated transfer and with 2 players involved there is twice as much that could go wrong. Paintsil is clearly not overly keen on us either which doesn't help.
Jesus Christ the thought hadn't even crossed my mind before I read this. Now it will be YOUR fault if he leaves.
