Rushing to judgement on Ange's selection. We have to accept at this early stage in a new manager's tenure that he will need to see stuff and try stuff. His start in the league has been way beyond what we might expect IMO and it's easy to forget that. He has already said that some of the older players are taking longer to adapt and those words ring true when we see how poor our midfield has been in this game. He also demands a very high workrate with his players and he will no doubt take that into account. We also don't know if players like Hjobjerg and Sanchez will be with us much longer. We also don't know if Sanchez is part of the deal with Norwich in other words it's too early and too many unknowns to make definitive statements on team selections.
Why does he need try and change what’s been a winning formula? There’s nothing to see, Spurf. We’d been playing very well with our first choice XI, there was absolutely no need to change that to see if a bunch of largely poor players can step up at the expense of a cup. We’re away to a Premier League team, not someone in League 2, we should be treating it as such.
No wonder I got a ticket .... thousands of empty seats here... teams out... lo celso off for scarlett COYS
I'm going to assume it's a coincidence that Ansu Fati talk has dramatically increased since kickoff...
Even as someone that admires Davies for his reliability, the difference in quality we can already see between Udogie and him is frightening. Likewise for about 7 other positions on the pitch though.
surprising sub. Lo Celso was being praised by Ange for his attitude and training. And to be subbed by an academy player!
At least the performance is a signal to Levy that beyond our usual starting line up we’re very poor. Better now whilst there’s still some time to get new signings in.
Last time I saw something I couldn't be sure was pink or grey, it was a packet of bacon that was wedged at the back of my fridge for three weeks
