The point is there was no need to make this many changes. Time isn’t even a relevant factor in this. We’re away to a Premier League club and have picked a side that’d struggle against a lot of Championship ones.
DH there are many reasons at this stage. Seeing players in a match, part of negotiations to sell, resting first team options. There are ways to change this, subs available. I think it's good that Ange sees this for himself in a competitive situation.
