I'm at work in newcastle....is that allowed?

And just to keep on topic, we've just had a patient come in, transferred from the RVI.

Two years ago (next month) I had a short break (only one week) in the R.V.I. (last minute booking - the food was terrible), and I still support The Lads :emoticon-0105-wink:

Just drove back from Newcastle. Had some scran on the Quayside (where I lived for 8 years and still own a property)

Am I a Mag now? Despite just clocking 30 years as a season ticket holder? Well ****.

Think the Adil lad is the Amad replacement

They seem a bit reticent to develop other peoples players this summer and go for loans. Wonder if clubs less likely to let players go out given the longer games being played too

I am doing a project with a company from Newcastle in New South Wales, am I a mag?

I was guessing if this lad plays left wing someone would be on the way out, or could you not imagine that?

We literally only have Clarke and Roberts to play on the wing. Anyone else (Ba, Embleton, Gooch) would be playing out of position.

Gooch can play right wing, and you missed Bennete

Gooch hasn't played RW consistently for 3 years. Bennette is miles away from being good enough

Would you honestly be happy with Gooch and Benette as our back up wingers?

not meaning this as a personal attack on you mate, but what I don’t get is why some of our fans refuse to accept L09 as a CB despite him consistently playing there since we had Dion Sanderson on loan about 3 years ago, yet Gooch is not a winger because he hasn’t consistently played there for a few years.

Gooch is more comfortable as RW/RWB despite playing RB until Hume made the position his own. I think LW is actually his best position personally.

Was just making the point that Gooch has been uses almost exclusively as a full back since the covid season. Is it asking too much of him to reinvent again as a winger? In the same way that I wouldn't play O9 in midfield because it's not fair on these lads to shift them about the pitch and expect them to work on multiple sets of skills - Gooch will have been concentrating his individual training on positioning, tackling and defending one on one situations in order to progress his game, if he's now considered a winger then it's a whole new set of skills (not saying he can't, just think it's a tad unfair)

Benette isn’t showing enough to be stand on at this point, not writing him off though. He’s definitely not ****. He looked more ready than Ba and Michut at the start. Gooch I think earned the right to be playing this division. I suspect though he has a high wage they think they can reinvest. I’m sad to see Gooch’s likely exit personally

Ted, the one thing on here that's different to rtg is there is not much malice in the reply, re knocking the club.
I used to get pelters, but what I posted was what I found out, from a senior coach and some times off Alex N so it was a decent source.
If this lad is as injured as has been indicated, groin and calf strain then it's 2 to 3 weeks to be match fit.
SH thinks he is a good shout that's good enough for me.
