Interesting. Can we really give Warren the job now though after issuing the statement about Barmby being manager for the next 6 weeks?

I thought they said foreseeable future rather than 6 weeks, have they made more statements today saying 6 weeks?

I don't think CI is saying anything more than I did the other night, except they're making it sound like they know something where I just asked if it sounded likely. We wanted Joyce, we couldn't have Joyce, we appointed a caretaker manager and said there were no plans to look for alternative choices.

That to me says there's still the intention of appointing Joyce at some point, but that there's something stopping it happen now. When that something will be resolved is unforeseeable, so Barmby is in charge for the foreseeable future, or in other words until the situation with Joyce changes.

I read somewhere it was for six weeks, however I do remember the club website saying it was for the foreseeable future now.

I think you're reading too much into it.

They may have said 6 weeks since, I just don't receive the local media that would be reporting it.

The something stopping us getting Joyce was that he would rather stay at Man U
Nick is caretaker because he asked for the position to be caretaker with a view to permanent (probably to ease the pressure)

Youre reading way too much into things
