What a great argument here RR.. Same question back to you, only worded slightly differently, why has NP been sacked from so many clubs, if he’s so much better?
This is an overview of the career of a manager. I think i will let that do the talking -compare the clubs they have managed the master and the pupil. All managers ultimately get sacked, NP has been in management at a higher level than LJ though, and does have a promotion on his CV .
I was going to say that considering Nige has been sacked more times by more clubs than LJ, statistically he must be worse!!! (Lies, damned lies and statistics...!)
Based on that analysis any manager that has had one promotion is better than LJ because he has never achieved any promotions at any level. (Lies, damned lies and statistics...!)
If that is the yardstick, then yes you’re correct. But that’s like saying Harry Kane is a rubbish player as he’s never won a trophy in his career? Anyway, who started this $hite thread. He’s an ex- manager, and I thought he did ok for us, but now he’s left, as with all of them, I don’t really care too much tbh
SAF, Pep and Klopp are ****e - they haven't won the EFL trophy yet - and they are only able to manage teams when they have infinite financial resources at their disposal. I'd like to see one of them try and win anything at Hibs......
I bet Hibs have never approached them or Nige ......Will Nige achieve a higher position in the Championship with us than LJ.......not done so far
Lets see where we end up this season................he's having a struggle As they say...it's all about results
As said Master and the pupil RP but you got to laugh it like comparing a stallion to a Donkey you would cry otherwise.
I think you'll find we have won the EFL trophy more times than any other team on the entire planet! Neither of the Manc teams have - nor Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool etc - not even just the once! Pep & co must be gutted that this cup will probably forever elude them ......................
I think you were right a few pages back when you suggested he would go to Yeovil. I seem to remember you being right about him coming to manage us too, a long time before he actually did. I remember not believing you at the time!!!!
Quick, get up the bookies and tell Yeovil Town a saviour is on the way and put £20 on while you're there ! It would possibly be a first in football to have a father and son managing opposing teams playing in the same division in Torquay v Yeovil if Junior got the job ?
