Isn’t he pretty much a pure wing back? Even in the championship. I thought he only really operated as part of a back 3 / back 5. Is that how Leeds play?

I expect inevitably this will lead to some kicking off at the thought that Leeds are “beating us” to a player. When there have only ever been tenuous links for multiple windows

I wouldn't lose any sleep at him not coming here.

I’m a lot more positive and excited about Saints now too. Last few seasons have been a real slog to generate any sort of enthusiasm.

Aside from being one of the promotion favourites and having a chance of winning games, I think the main reason is Russell Martin.

Amazing what being genuine and honest can do. Refreshing.

Exactly. As I've said before, RM and team Saints FC will give us plenty to cheer about for the season ahead!

Not long until this window SLAMS SHUT! And luckily it is made of bulletproof glass and cannot be broken. Sadly, there are no curtains and the big clubs will be peering in until the winter. Not sure why we open the window in the middle of winter when it is cold, but I guess football clubs are fusty places?

Good point! Maybe stick to home games, it’s still journey enough for me!

Talk of Hojbjerg to Man Utd. Pretty sure we have a sell on clause on him. Some more cash to throw onto the pile

I watched him play in the first Tottenham game I think and he looked really good. Surprised they are selling him.

I’ve seen it might only be a loan. I wonder if they will be selling for a profit if there is a sale. Because if we did have a clause it would only be on profit

Although didn’t we kind of get a raw deal on that one so any sale probably would be a profit ?

Transfer market saying Spurs paid £16.6m for him. Was the same summer we bought KWP from them so probably some negotiating on price with that in mind.

If you believe FM then we have a 10% clause on his next transfer fee, not just profit. How accurate that is I have no idea, a quick google indicates that the deal was initially stalled over sell on clauses so it appears there is one

Reports that Palace are trying to get Iheanacho before Wolves can. Wonder if that puts Ché on course for Wolves...

That's Everton out of the Ché stakes.

Absolutely no offence to the lad, but I hope he is a massive failure there
