I am starting to wonder though if the potential Johnson signing is with the aim of converting him to a full time centre forward, in a sort of speed merchant type playing off the last man, basically like Mbappe but just a very much watered down version of course, lol. It's not something I'm hugely in favour of because I don't see Johnson having the required level of finishing ability but I'm just trying to work out the reasoning to sign him when we're quite nicely well stocked with wingers/ wide forwards yet severely lacking in quality at CF/ ST.

 

why would he need 6 months though, necessarily? I know he’s young and needs to adapt to life in this country, but from a footballing point of view, if he’s had a break and has trained well, surely he could be an option before December?
