Well, Joelinton didn't do anything way beyond the the line, they were niggly fouls that should have been pulled up by the referee. The referee let it go so he kept going. You'd expect the same of any player, Trent would have 100% taken Gordon out (instead of the soft arm) had he not already been booked... and let's face it, Gordon would deserved it after the audit on Trent just prior to said booking.
his right sided midfield partner or right sided attacker should have nailed Gordon for him. really simple. we got 2 yellows. both for kicking ball away offense. they got 1 solitary yellow. you could easily tag the guy and make the little rat run and side. the reffing is crazy this year. massive amount of ****house fouling and cheating without issue then crazy over harsh red cards and double yellows for nothing but the refs own charter of "respect" it's had material effects on several games each week for first 3 weeks. and really it's had zero benefit to the quality for the fans
I don't think we've ever had a successful Italian transfer. Others have but not us. Must be hard going from Milan to a club with no success to speak of. Not to mention the culture shock.
Yeah, I did refer to 'old school', none of the modern day players would know what day it is if smashed like yesteryear.
half their team seemed more interested in leaving one on the pool player who played the ball than actually stopping the pass .
Said it immediately after the final whistle; they seem to have adopted the Simeone, Mourinho, Pep type tactics of retrieve the ball via an instant press and if that fails in the first three seconds, perform a foul to break up position play instead... It's almost a old school 'man or ball' type approach but as a team As a team, were not snide enough at times. I like that we play a fairer game but occasionally you have to get stuck in a match the opposition. Yesterday needed that '**** you' attitude. Problem was, the referee would have punished us whilst letting Newcastle do it.
Fair enough. Assumed by the comment was talk of moving from an Italian club to England. We’ve only had 6 actual italians Balotelli Borini Aquilani Dossena Padelli Paleta So none a huge success. 134 appearances between them. With bottom 2 having 1 and 8 respectively.
Dossena gets a nod of appreciation for those goals v ManU & RM within a couple of weeks of each other
As per above, assumed you were talking about transfers from Italy. Rather than transfers of Italians.
