Living in North Tyneside most of my life I have encountered many. many Saudi Fans. One half of my Mum's family is B&W as are my in-laws. I don't know a single Saudi FC fan who goes to games. Not one of them. My "dyed in the wool" Father in Law goes to the pub to watch the games, despite being a) retired and b) ****ing minted he'd rather watch the illegal streams than actually support his club. Strange breed doesn't even begin to describe it
I work with a lad who’s a mag and genuinely is a decent supporter. Had a season card for donkeys years and goes away probably 10-15 games a season so I’ll take crap off him no problem. But as you said the majority seem to have crawled out of the woodwork and they’re all over social media posting regularly whilst the match is live because they’re sat at home watching on a fire stick - normally from somewhere closer to Sunderland or Boro. Embarrassing.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I don't have an issue with Saudis who go to games, but at least I will allow them an opinion. These ****ers who claim to "bleed black & white" etc but haven't been to a game since Keegan are a joke. Spend all their money on the cult tops every July but have never seen the inside of Castle Grayskull in 20 years
There was one sat outside our local Aldi yesterday afternoon in the full Saudi green and white kit. - there was also another bloke in full thobe but I'm sure he wasn't a mag
Aldershot keeper sent off. Maguire scores the resulting free kick, no sub keeper on the bench for Aldershot so a forward has gone in goal
I did fancy him to score that, anything on target over the wall and the keeper was in bother. He wasn't bad at that sort of stuff up here.
****ing hell, the striker who went in goal for Aldershot is now going up front and another sub forward is going in goal. Didn't even know that was allowed in the rules
