From a winning position to lose against 10 men, that's about as low as it gets. We passed the ball around without actually attacking for most of that second half. Terrible choice which got the worst outcome. That's got to be Eddie Howe's poorest game. I just hope Botman isn't too badly injured.

I think expectations increased way above reality because of last season. Newcastle finished 5th once under Ashley , but we didn't start expecting to stay there. It's a 10 year plan to compete for honours, but because of last season people have forgotten. I'm sorry to say but it was always going to take a while to fix Ashley's mess.
