Most thrilling game I watched was 2008 3-2 2nd leg, what a mix of emotions! My favourite though has to be in 2001 when we thumped you 4-0
the 5-1 was good when Paddy Berger bagged a hat trick. The Luis Garcia game 1-0, was alright I spose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,as was the shoot out game where Dirk scored the winning pen, then there was the Meireles match, the 4-4, the Alonso deflection match, the fa cup semi where Garcia scored again
The game with the ghost goal was crazy, ring of fire was in full effect as well. Garcia was just continuing to make himself an instant legend.
Luis Garcia , a player who really understood the spirit of the club and the fans. The guy played for Atletico and Barce, but when he finishes I have absolutely no doubt he will say the best years of his career were at Liverpool.Could be occasionally frustratin to watch at times but, LEGEND!!!
Yes he did and it was a brilliant goal which we will never forgot. Thanks Gerro
My favourite game was the FA cup fifth round when Liverpool were leading 2-0 at half time...97 I think... Awesome second half...
After that come back in 97 I said we'd win the fa cup that year and the cup winners following year and we did. Wished I'd put some cash on, odds would've been massive!!
My fav was the 4-4. I actually think that game (until we bought Torres at least) took a bit of sting out of the rivalry with both fans being so good on that night at S.B and both teams putting on one hell of a show. Full credit to Liverpool, they kept coming at us even after we'd completed the 3 goal come back. Amazing night, will never forget it.
Hell yeah!! Don't forget Hughes though. He came on at half time and literally changed the game. When you look back and see where we went after that game, that has to be one of the most important subs in our history!!
