I'm surprised how they've seemingly regressed, very poor now. Despite how poor England were, let's give Fiji credit. An ominous omen for our first game
An enjoyable watch. Can't wait for that opening game, I'll bet the ABs are sweating. I'm worried for Wales at the moment. I can't understand why they opted for one less warm up game than everyone else.
I didn't think they were bad as the scoreline, lots of mistakes and silly penalties. We're going to have to really perform to get out of the group.
Only one more sleep! And what a belter to open with. Not too optimistic for Wales' chances of getting out of the group, they'll have to play error free and disciplined, at least once against either Fiji or Aus (and win, obviously). Against both would be better!
I’m hopeful but not over optimistic that we will progress out of the group I’ve got a sneaky feeling that Ireland won’t make it out of their group
Ireland won't win it, that's for sure. Who do you fancy overall? I'm going to say France or SA. Home advantage may swing it. Here's a nice PDF with the fixtures.
It's a shame Wales are where we are, our side of the draw is such an opportunity. Oh well, they may surprise us yet!
Hopefully, we can beat Fiji, although Georgia will not be a pushover. If we beat Fiji, hopefully Fiji won’t then go and beat the Aussies… Could have 3 teams with the same number of points ….
Wales team to face Fiji: Liam Williams; Louis Rees-Zammit, George North, Nick Tompkins, Josh Adams; Dan Biggar, Gareth Davies; Gareth Thomas, Ryan Elias, Tomas Francis, Will Rowlands, Adam Beard, Aaron Wainwright, Jac Morgan (c), Taulupe Faletau. Replacements: Elliot Dee, Corey Domachowski, Dillon Lewis, Dafydd Jenkins, Tommy Reffell, Tomos Williams, Sam Costelow, Rio Dyer. With Lake not fit, that’s probably our strongest available XV
