to be fair the balance is off today because we have three wide players out in Clarke, Bennette and Gooch - as well as Mayenda - and haven’t brought in the striker yet. it won’t look as bad when our injury crisis moves to another part of the field
That's what I thought you were suggesting but it would mean presumably Clarke as RWB which would be massively out of position. I'd say that's unlikely. It's possible Cirkin is in the back 3 and Hume as RWB.
Funny that people on Twitter whinging about “Dack up front” even though, after he was moved last week, he was absolutely top notch
I’m not saying you’re wrong to be concerned. Just that it’s natural that a week where we have 4 wingers injured we lack wingers on the bench. All four due to be fit in next 3 weeks. I agree the bench looks weak to me today.
I think the top four this year will be Leicester, Southampton, Leeds and Coventry. Not sure on order. Way too early to say that I know, especially with the window yet to close, but just a gut feeling. It’s why I think a draw today would be a cracking result even if it’s not getting us up the table like we’d like.
Depends on your take in it I guess, Roberts, Bennett, Alese, Stewart, Gooch and Mayenda to add to those sitting in the bench and I'd say that's strong. And there is still a week to go till the window ends
Big opportunity for him today. This needs to be a bit of breakthrough season for him in terms of being a reliable first teamer.
Coventrys team on paper without Hamer and Gyokores is **** everyone must see something I don’t because they’re massive favourites against us.
No I'm saying the bench is looking strong considering injuries. It's not filled with youth team players Edit. I make it 4 of the bench possibly 5 have been mentioned as possible starters, so it can't be that weak
and frankly - I can see why bookies etc would write us off. When we take our Sunderland fan optimistic spin off - we have a midfielder who couldn’t get in Blackburns team playing as a lone striker, with a 17 year old who couldn’t get in Birmingham’s behind him. And we are missing arguably our most creative force in setting up chances for them. If I was a neutral I think I’d look at the two sides and form and think it was a pretty clear cut home win.
