Are they? So far they made BIG mistakes last season with the managerial situation. Spent around £140 million in the season (biggest season spend in the history of the club). Have admitted the mistakes mainly through Wilcox who now fronts the club media wise. Moving onto this season they have appointed a manager that by the looks of it, most fans including myself are getting fully behind as it’s great to see a manager with a style and a plan. Are sensibly balancing the books not to put us in the position like we were last time we were relegated, but will in my opinion still leave us with a squad fully capable of challenging for promotion this season. I guess time will tell who is right who is wrong and agree to disagree. Any way I’m off to get ready to go and support the players who will be wearing the red and white today. COYR

The issue is people make assumptions. I would say the ‘positive bunch’ have all predicted we will finish mid table or playoffs while some of us ‘neggies’ have predicted top two. The truth is being ambitious for the club can come across negative. Doesn’t mean we don’t support the team- but in all honesty we have nearly completed our third successive window without fixing the striker issue…

I’m hoping you are right on 80 as it means less of a gap to fill! Leeds probably do as well given their lack of sales! Were the groups definitely a leaving group and a staying group? I must have missed this. Heard there were two. Or is this an assumption because he trained with the group that Tella was in? Che hasn’t been sold yet. I prefer to wait until it happens. If he doesn’t play today then I’d agree he is definitely gone. Which would be unfortunate.
