    If Kamaldeen stays, we sell Tella for £20m and go out and get a good replacement then I’m good with it. Hold onto your hats for the last week of the window!

    To me Tella is probably about the same standard as Adam Armstrong.

    Would we be happy with 20m for Adarma? Of course.

    Is this what Burnley meant by #freetella?

    I think this is a very good opportunity for him, but its disappointing nonetheless. Hopefully that is the last starting forward we lose this Summer.

    Although those that think we will be signing a replacement will be disappointed I feel.... (this is probably why we signed Fraser).

    I'm not even sure we need to sign a replacement if Che and Sulemana stay. We've still got SAA, Edozie, Adarma can play out wide, Fraser and Sulemana as wide options. I'd say we're more in need of a CF regardless if Che stays or not.

    Agreed. Though this is, for me, the worst thing about losing Tella. He could play several positions. I'd rather him up front than Adarma.

    So if we do replace, it would be good to do so with someone equally flexible. Stu, SAA, Fraser; none of them can play no. 9.

    Wonder if this makes him shortest lasting holder of the number 11 shirt in the clubs history (leaving 3 games after getting it).

    Initial reaction is that this is really stupid. No need to sell a proven goalscorer and arguably the best winger in the league.

    But there is a week left in the window so I wont be making any final judgement until the window is shut.
