Yeah, that isn’t the two for each position plus youngsters you asserted. The wingers alone are 5 plus Vaughan and Covil.

So 5 players covering 2 wings and probably the 10 spot half the time also (you assume no one will leave) isn't less than 6 for potentially 3 positions is it not?

Covil and Vaughan are youngstes who won't be likely starters

    It's pretty simple maths.

So how many senior out and out wingers do we have? My count is 4 for 2 shirts with a pair of 10s for 1 shirt (though they can play wide if preferred).

Tufan has been playing up top so comes in to the striker equation which is 4 for 2 berths.

Nowt wrong with my maths pal. You're the one saying we have players stacked up and also confident that no one is leaving.

    “It pretty much is.”

One of the more famous quotes regarding mathematics.

They changed the rules for the 16/17 season, league clubs can only loan players in and out during a transfer window now.

Óscar, who is seemingly third choice striker right now and would be fourth if we sign Davis.

Sinik and Allahyar won’t be on peanuts and we paid big fees for them. People are convinced they’ll go but Rosenior has played Allahyar when he’s fit and keeps reiterating that he’s part of his plans when he’s fit.

Traoré and Tufan will be. We also have Twine. They can all play #10 and Traoré and Twine can play wide, which means they could also be competing for starting spots with Philogene who we’re allegedly paying good money for.

****ing hell. why don’t you argue about player numbers and what cover we have for each position, once the window is shut. That makes a lot more sense.

Allahyar won't get a look-in now we've signed Lokilo and Twine and are about to sign Philogene.

Worth remembering as well, we're going to lose Traore and Seri from min Jan to mid Feb for the AFCON.

Oscar is likely to leave if we sign Davis. Pretty much confirmed by Rosie replying 'every player has a valuation when asked and also confirmed as a possibility by Baz.

We know that one or both of Sinik and Allahyar will be allowed to leave 8f we sign another - Wasn't it HT2 said he'd have gone on loan by now if he hadn't got injured and we know there's interest

Tufan seems to be preferred as a false 9 and whilst I agree we probably won't play a no 10 if he's up top, he also box to box mid by trade so comes into the thinking for Slater cover as Doc will likely go in Jan when fit.

Twine can play left, right or centre, Adama can play right or centre but between the AMs and Wide players it's still likely to be 3 selected from 6 when the windows done and would still be only an injury away from that balance if no-one leaves.

Just see where we are when the window shuts.

If we're expecting 5 in I'd expect a similar number to go out.

And yes, it is the stated plan from the owner and manager to have competition for starting spots.

I think others have been using that term recently not me - but if the cap fits...

Not a surprise to see you have a couple of personal digs when your argument unravels though, sadly.

I don’t want to add to the argument in any way as it’s nothing to do with me and it has gone on too long…

but, I would like to say I do like the word incessantly. I will be aiming to use this more in the future. Thank you.
