That can't be right the club have shown no ambition and have even been accused of neglect over the fact they hadn't signed a new striker, I read it on here, simple fact is the club has spent all summer and even linger trying to rectify the striker situation but because it didn't happen before the season started we were a shambles. I understand people are concerned due to what happened in January however some of the comments have been laughable to say the least

These comments may wel have been laughable if it weren't for most being reasonably accurate

That Virginius link feels more like an "in the back pocket" type for if we suddenly get a big offer for Clarke.

Hull are signing Philogene-Bodence for £5m from Villa. Where are they getting that money from? Still the money from Lewis-Potter?

Forshaw certainly has had a lot of trouble with his hips according to the Leeds and Boro lads I know from work.
I’d hoped we would be able to get someone in to fill that role who would not be such an injury risk tbh.

I don't quite get this one tbh.

He's on the verge of the Villa squad and was supposed to be the next biig thing.

Oooh er Smug, perish the thought….

    Not sure about Diamond tbh.

Pleased that we seem to be trying to remedy CDM position, just hope we get someone who isn’t as injury prone as Forshaw seems to be.

We should loan him out, get some money in and have him fit if the charges are dropped, he's proven innocent.

Not even sure that's possible or if it is, how likely it is from someone under investigation of sexual assault and rape.

Guess he will be unavailable until the outcome of the trial.

Not sure if that’s directed at me but if so, I’m not being negative, nor do I lead a negative life.

Fact is the lad is a good player in a role that we’ve been lacking in since Evans got injured in January.

I work in London with lads who support a number of different clubs, amongst them Boro and Leeds.

Those lads said that he’s a lower PL standard CDM who unfortunately has missed a lot of football due to long term hip injuries as well as a long spell out due to a fractured knee cap.

Ability wise he’s fine at this level, injury record would be a major concern.
