I used to collect beer mats. Can’t for the life of me remember when or how they went, but I definitely don’t have them anymore.
Also used to collect stamps as a kid. Still got those. Some nice memories in that as I kept a few letters they were on too, like one my Dad wrote back to his Mum when he went to Canada as a Queen’s Scout in the 50’s.
Also loads of football related ones. No idea if anything is valuable.
Nowadays I just try and collect happy memories <cool> (and hangovers)

Over the years I have collected cards from PG Tips, stamps, beer mats, Hull City football programmes, they disappeared when I was away at the Poly.
I collect laptops and other electronics these days but they'll have to go soon.

Never been into sports card collecting (because I’m not a Yank) but watched a couple of episodes of the series about a collectibles broker (Goldin something) and the prices they go for are bonkers

Yeah - first issues / first appearances can go for hundreds or even thousands of pounds. Like lots of collectibles it depends on the condition of the item. About 20 years ago I bought a dog eared copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 (!st ever appearance of Spider-Man) off e-bay for £350. I couldn't afford a copy in better condition! But even in that condition it would probably fetch around 10x that now because of what it is.

Jonathan Ross' copy will probably be worth tens of thousands <laugh>

    Nothing.
In fact, I increasingly do the reverse. Highly recommended.

Have you got a favourite Who song? Outside of their classic hits I think "The Kids are alright" is one of their under-rated songs

This takes some beating - who'd have thought that the angriest young men of the 70s (Pete Townsend) could have written and composed one of the greatest love songs ever - play it loud ladies ...
