Definately take a point against these. It's almost like there's a ghost of Jimmy Hill haunting us every time we play them!

    It is like.

They have lost some good players but spent some canny Dosh on replacements. So a point would keep us ticking over.

Be interesting to see how we set up tactically too.

We'll need to keep Godden quiet...he's always a threat.

They are all about the counter attack and I think will score We will see plenty ball but can we score. Would play Ba instead of Roberts he’s an unpredictable handful maybe something we need at the moment
not a place we do well at but sod it. 3-1 to the lads

We’ll score. We always score. So does the opposition like. 2-1 Sunderland.

They’ve lost their best players and the new ones haven’t had time to properly bed in yet. Good time to play them.

He can have them with the squad but its very stupid to have players on the bench that you cant utilise, whats the point?

Stuck 1-5 to the cuddlies on the predictor but now realise with Stroud in charge that is a ridiculous scoreline. I will be much more sensible and amend it to a mere 1-4.
Gooch to score the winner, Hemir 2 and the human wall Ballard from a set piece.

Well, tbf, he can utilise them if the circumstances are right and, in any case, can only use 5 of the 9 subs ...

... so you could say it's pointless having three or four of them there.

First away game for a while for me, looking forward to it! Think Coventry are good side if I’m being honest, was impressed first game of last season and watched them at Leicester, thought they were unlucky. Roberts is a big miss, but might have found something with jobe playing up front and these will give us the most space on the break than the first 3 games I’d imagine. We’re due a win down there, point wouldn’t be bad but hoping for 3 and get some momentum going. A hopeful 2-1 to the lads for me

I was also due to go to the Southampton game but have to work.

I'm 68 on September 14th so should be retired tbh. But I gave my sons their inheritance early so they could buy houses ...

... don't do that people, once they've had your money their wives try to drag them away from you.

So I'm now looking at Cardiff H, then Blackburn, Sheff Wed and Leicester. As my next games ...

... thankfully I can always get into any game so can KTF.

With Roberts out I wouldn't be surprised to see us go 3 at the back to match them up with either Gooch or Huggins coming in.

Only other option for me would be either Pritch or Ba to play. They seem to see Ba as a winger now so if they see him as that surely he's next in line behind Clarke and Roberts?

Well it's match day and the sun is shining.

Curious who comes in for Roberts today, wouldn't be to surprised to see Ba start on the right ad the only change from last weekend.

Head is saying a draw will be a good result, heart is saying Clarke will bag a brace today and Dack will finish it off to beat them 1-3

    Haway me bonny lads

Don't think we will rock the boat too much. Probably be Ba out wide.

If it's Pritchard I think he'll be staying, otherwise it's Ba or perhaps Hemir with Dack shifting position ...

... tbh I've no idea about their full/wing backs so just guessing.

I don't consider Pritchard for the wide positions, always feel he will want to drift inside too much.

I suspect Jobe will start up front with Dack behind, especially as Hemir played mid week for the u21's.

The only thing I remember about Coventry is that mcfazdean lump playing centre half

Apart from Simms (who is really rate) I don't know who else plays up front for them.

Going to be a tough game today, no doubt about it
