It was thought Bournemouth had activated a £20m release clause in the player's contract however BBC Sport understands the fee for Adams is significantly higher than £20m and does not involve a release clause.

Thought perkins would be loaned out he's not made it to championship standard.

 

Saw him in an u21s game this time last year. Said he won't make it here and got pelters.

Now he's at Oxford. I'll be surprised if he starts the majority of games there.

As always, with Joffy, Gotts, Bate, Kenneh and now Perkins, I hope he proves me wrong.

Cos he was relying on his size to excel in the 21's. It's a different game when people are just as strong as you are.

It's why I rated Summerville and Gnonto really highly after seeing what they can do at that u21 level. They were just head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch including other first teamers.

Greenwood and Joffy just haven't progressed. I genuinely think Greenwood could be turned in to a central midfielder over time. I genuinely don't know what to do with Joffy at this point. He's not a midfielder, he's not a 10, he's not a 9. He failed at Sunderland and seems to have zero confidence. I'd stick him back with the 21's to get some confidence back.

I would sell gelhardt if we can bring someone in. Lack of pace and any progress my reasons. He is not a game changer but he would be good in league 1.
