3:35 York. No prizes for guessing that I'll be going for Scampi. Jason Hart booked for the ride as Saffie is otherwise occupied.
Good luck, Resurgam! Jason Hart is a good jockey, and I am "reliably" informed he just loves Scampi & Chips!
Sadly not Ron. I'll be working in the shop, but I will make sure the other punters are out of the good seats, so I can have a good view of the TV, intead of being behind the counter
If it stays good to firm then I'd suggest Tactical (16.10) will run his race at last. Useless on soft going and that's all he has had this year. 25-1 so EW. Hope I'm not stealing SBC's thunder.
Currently dodging the showers in Brittany and don’t have the IT nous to circumvent the betting outside of the uk restrictions. I’ve heard talk of open vpns and such like but sounds like witchcraft to me. Anyway i have got an antepost ew voucher on Scriptwriter in the big race at York. Having said that the very best of luck to Resurgam and Scampi. Never a fan of the dish but I hope the horse runs well for you.
GALE FORCE MAYA 11/1 York 4:10 Last July she won the Sky Bet Dash over course and distance when racing off 104. Since then she has been plying her trade only in group and listed company. She returns to handicaps today off a mark of 102 and looks to have an obvious chance.
For what it's worth, Chan, my advice is just carry-on as you are doing at present. VPN's aren't worth a s*!t where I live down here in Munich. Tried two or three of the most highly-recommeded ones and all were useless. The BBC, for example, spots them straight away. Will say one thing for them though, they do refund your money immediately if you're not satisfied. That was appreciated. Have a great vacation, and hope the weather improves!
Found the York meeting pretty tough, but things improved yesterday with Coltrane, so here goes: In the (14:25) at York, a Class-2 Heritage Handicap for 3YO's only, run over the extended 1m.5f. on the anticipated good-to-firm ground, the Le Havre gelding, Alhambra Palace, has a good chance of making it a hattrick of wins. Smart apprentice, A. J. Farragher (3) rides for the William Haggas yard. 13/2 (PP/Betfred) best price at time of writing.
Hannon interviewed before the race. "Don't like Middle Earth". Should have taken the hint and backed it
Have a good holiday Chan. Just "down the road from us" Swanny, you obviously haven't tried NordVPN because I can watch BBC, ITV etc when set to UK London Chan, I'll be surprised if you couldn't place bets with it installed
(17:06) Cartmel - Mr Rumbalicious Should run a decent race for yard that does well at this track. Theo Gillard takes the ride for the James Moffatt stable. 13/2 (Wm.Hill/Unibet) best price at time of writing.
Can't remember, Ron, if I tried that VPN or not. Decided I would stay and be satisfied with Filmon who give me pretty good service for approx. €20 a month. Said before, Filmon must have some sort of agreement with the UK channels, etc., because, apart from the occasional blips (seldom), I can get just about any channel I want, plus many 'strange' ones (which I don't want!) (I should add that Filmon has an excellent 'recording' system, up to 11-hours free, available for a full 30-days)
