So far 14 players out that I won’t miss and only a handful in to replace them, but think we are now a stronger team than we were especially if Sinisterra and Gnonto are here too. Having a proper striker is massive as we needed one for a couple of years
Said in today's thread that Sinisterra is the best player in the Championship and by a distance. Hopefully the Saudis don't come knocking.
I don’t think that the Saudis are looking at championship players, nor do I think that he is a big enough name at the moment for their project.
Wish I was a close friend of his Shako, we have a lot of mutual friends, a lot of the lads around here, some right dodgy ****ers, go to his mansion for drinks and his executive box at Elland Road on match days, fair play to him for sticking with the mates he grew up and worked with. I'll ask the lads if Eire as been to one of the parties in his tutu when I see them at the weekend
My only concern about our new striker was that he was running down his contract with Swans, & apparently refusing to be sold earlier in the window (allegedly). It stands to reason that he may well do the same to us, but thankfully, not for a few years. I still worry about his loyalty, though - not to the club, but his contract. If his agent is pulling the strings, we may be heading for another Gnonto situation. But happy overall that we've got a new striker. Hope he keeps out of the way of Bamford in training. I can just see Bamford smashing into him & putting both out for the rest of the season.
I suspect if the decorator comes in Sini will move on. Is it greedy to want both? I’m with you on sini. Some players are just so easy on the eye, he oozes class. Shame the fcker’s hardly been fit for us.
