He is 19 years old. Did you never make mistakes at that age because you were a “grown man”. I was still out on the piss in magaluf without a ****ing care in the world at that age. Give him a chance, even some bloody murders get parole.

100% right. Even Farke said he cringes when he thinks of stuff he did back then. Same goes for me. Fans will get the chance now to prove they’re as great as we like to think. Sing willys name loud and clear in his first game back

If he knocks 3 in against Ipswich he’ll be ok at ER, possibly

My post was not about not giving him a chance or boo him I've never booed a Leeds player in my life and never will. just stating what a complete tool he is and doesn't have Leeds on his sleeve.

Re. Gnonto, I betcha he's off in January for £25m (if anyone is interested). That'll be the compromise that settled all this.

I hope we **** him about like he did the club. Cost us at least a couple of points by refusing to play and tbh I can’t stand the little ****.

None of them have Leeds on their sleeves. Few of any modern day footballers do. It’s sad but that’s why the game has lost a lot of its appeal

Don’t disagree he’s handled it badly but he’s 19 years old ffs. And even taking that aside why would a young Italian lad have Leeds on his sleeve. You’re harping back to a bygone era but even then you wonder if it was because the money wasn’t the same. Being reported that Salah wants out of Liverpool to chase the Saudi cash

I didn't really want to get into this debate, but what has his age got to with anything.

Because we don’t make the same decisions as a hot headed teenager that we do after years of life experience. It’s why they pay and put all their trust in their agents. I know I’ve looked back and thought I’d handle a situation very differently.

Any premier player from any of the top leagues for me who are 'chasing the Saudi cash' are nothing more than a set of greedy bastards if they haven't made enough playing in their respective leagues between 20-30 years of age at today's obscene amounts to set them up for life then there is something inherently wrong....take that pin up boy neymar for a complete example of pathetic greed ffs

Glad the club showed a strong stance, it would have been easy to buckle, it shows the rest don't **** with a Farke

A nineteen year old in 2023 is totally different to one in 1973. <ok>

end of the day things are becoming a little bit clearer we have got 2 wide men back. hopefully from the grapevine that goal scoring striker is on the verge of signing and bolster that next week with a few more additions my mojo will return :emoticon-0100-smile but until then Willy is still a tool and needs to repay the managers faith in giving him that 2nd chance. side before self and all that.

If it goes to plan I suppose we look at a front 4 of.....

    Sinisterra---Amiri----Summerville
    ------------------Piroe

That's by far the best attacking quartet in the Championship. Then you've got a bench of...

    Dan James
    Willie Gnonto
    Georginio Rutter
    Ian Poveda
    Joe Gelhardt
    Mateo Joseph
    Sam Greenwood
    Patrick Bamford

    There's some serious depth there.

Add Lewis O'Brien on loan and go get Charlie Taylor for peanuts and we'd have the best side in the Championship imo.
