Even if Che is really happy here it makes sense to wait and see what happens in the transfer window before signing. From our perspective that is no issue, providing that if we do sell for a good price, it is with enough time to get our primary target replacment. But with Piroe off to leeds, it looks as though that ship has sailed. I wonder who we have as a back up option to Piroe. Ideally no one offers £15m/£18m for Adams and he bangs in 30 goals this season as we get promoted!

I have many reasons not to go anywhere near Twitter, the daily end of the world warning being top of the list.
Oh, totally, nor would I It's the only way I can see a right Back coming in is if one of the current 2 options leave.
Definitely seems that Burnley have given up on Tella at this point. Leverkusen seem to be the ones to be wary of. https://x.com/sachatavolieri/status/1694767273750257727?s=46&t=f0hgNyKSvvOD5qjGLJhsXQ
What poster on here said something like “ why spend a couple of weeks possibly getting stressed about something we have no control over , when you can just wait those two weeks “ I’m talking people getting stressed out / wound up , not normal chat .
Part of me thinks that Ross Stewart was our #1 target when it was reported weeks back. He’s currently injured until end of September/start of October but he’s also in the final year of his deal. Wonder if we might resurface in January if he’s six months away from being a free agent and if Sunderland are bobbing along while we’re in the top six? Billy Sharp style January boost…
