It wouldn’t be bad idea to try Mount on the right. But he’s effectively played the same role as Bruno throughout his career even though he’s naturally right footed. He tried to get into the right at Spurs a couple of times too. But I don’t know if it will feel natural to him to be on the right.

 

Something doesn’t add up on that front because apparently no bids have even been made for the player.

 

Aye I meant I'd rather we went for Amrabat as a DM rather than go for a CB.

We need to control the midfield with someone who's proven in the role. The thing about Amrabat is he's not just a defensive mid. He may not provide many assists or goals but he's great in possession, he brings the ball forward, and he passes the ball forward more and starts off attacks. For a solid DM it's a big plus.

 

Let’s see what happens in the next week. Surely everyone knows that the midfield is a problem right now and not the defence.

Great, we've spunked the best chunk of our summer budget on a player who we have no real need of, and no idea where to play him (when recovered after six weeks), I thought we were over this transfer ****e when Woody left.

 

I have a horrible feeling our business is done for this window, can't explain why, it's just a feeling.
