So now he’s after Wood - £7m plus add ons seems attractive, but how much would go to Middlesbrough given they included a “healthy’ sell on clause
Sounds like a done deal and I understand the club want the majority of the money up front. At least it's not Southampton?
Why should that concern you, or anyone else, for that matter ? It's really none of your business, and I'm pretty sure you would be up in arms if strangers were to question how you spend your cash - " wisely ", or otherwise.
This on going saga is ever so tedious. I've reached the point where I don't give a damn whether he goes or stays. His league goals have seemingly dried up. £ 12,000,000.00, if that price is correct, seems on the cheap side for such a prolific, over the last two seasons, striker. However, since none of his transfer fee is heading my way, why should I, or anyone else, be bothered. How are you doing glam ?
Not me, and especially now we have sold Piroe to Leeds for £10 Million, we are the graveyard of ambition............
Piroe's record of 41 goals in 91 Championship league games for us is outstanding and leaves a void that the boardroom must surely be going all out to fill, Yes?.............
Who out of the current team will or is capable of taking the main strikers roll ? Not many better than piroe about in our picking barrel for £10M ? That's even if the yanks allowed part of it to be spent to benefit the club / fans ? Selling club sells best assets again !
I don't see Yates filling his boots but I might be wrong, I would hope we at least look at replacing Piroe before the window shuts and not wait until January or next season to try to plod on regardless.....
As a ‘concerned’ customer who spends his money at the Club/Company. Surely, you recognise and understand that all good companies consider their customers?
With the money we now have available from this sale, I feel there will be big questions asked of the club's ambition, if they do not spend at least some of it on bringing in another striker who can keep the goals flowing as much as Piroe did, then we could well risk our competitiveness at this level......
