Equilateral was a good thing wasn’t it. Used to running against much better than that lot he’s just defeated.

    VIP

Looks solid today guys. Sensible stakes here’s the first lot. Really struggling to find good angles in the later races so might not be tips for all races at York today.

Stake sensible as more bets than usual at Festivals. Hopefully we can come out with some profit

VIP 1.50 YORK - Sky money back if up to 3rd.

    Other bookies pay 3 places.

    RELIEF RALLY 13/8 - 2 point win

    EW - DORORTHY LAWRENCE 40/1 - 0.5 EW

Sky has the money back offer so essentially if you use this we can finish 3rd and not lose out. (This bet is capped by Sky bare in mind) If you do want to have a bigger bet will have to use a different bookie.

Basically none of the horses in the line up have the form that RELIEF RALLY does. 2nd in the Queen Mary at Ascot is significantly better than anything this lot has done so far. He followed this up beating Stes selection DAPPERLING (runs in the next) by 3 lengths in the super sprint class 2. This group 2 will be alot harder than that but Haggas’s filly would be unbeaten if not for being touched off in the Queen Mary, any repeat of that run should be good enough to win this on one major condition. That condition is that CHERRY BLOSSOM isn’t as good as she’s touted to be. She looked very impressive when winning at the Curragh under Ryan Moore, but who and what did she beat? Nothing. Has it all to prove and not a bet at the price. At 5/1 id be more tempted. RELIEF RALLY is the pick that makes sense here. I really like her and think she has the ability to win a group 1 next year as a 3 year old. One of the best 2 year old fillies this year in my opinion.

FLORA OF BERMUDA keeps improving and STAR OF MYSTERY has shown signs of being a very nice animal. Both short and one that stands out for me is DOROTHY LAWRENCE who at 40/1 might be worth chancing for a place. Ran really well here in a listed contest earlier this year finishing second behind PERSIAN DREAMER who then won at Newmarket when beating STAR OF MYSTERY by a similar margin. That form is quite similar so if you fancy STAR OF MYSTERY (which I do at 13/2) then there's massive value here for DOROTHY LAWRENCE at 40/1 in my opinion and thats how I’ve got the conclusion shes worth a small bet today.

    2.25 YORK - 6 paid

    HACKMAN 33/1 - 0.5 EW

    AMBUSHED 20/1 - 0.5 EW

Ste’s put DAPPERLING up (I probably would of tipped it as well TBH guys been solid this year)

We have 22 runners in this race so you have to throw a few darts. These are big prices so if one wins and you bet evenly on all 3 - you will make good profit. Theres method to the madness. All horses will be trying to win here and some will of been targeted specifically for this one with £300,000 for the winner.

First thing I will say is that the 9/2 on Persica and 9/2 for Ziggy is way too short for me to get involved with. Ziggy especially has a nice draw and is the one of the favs I would side with. You would imagine the winner will come from low stall number (Dapperlings 4) AMBUSHED is the one who has a ‘poor’ draw so to speak but i’m still keen to try him as he beat BALLYMOUNT BOY LTO so surely his form is franked really well heading into this race and he’s a massive price at 20/1. Ballymount was second yesterday but that race was alot tougher than this in terms of class level. I’ve not bet or track AMBUSHED but that form for me is standout so at 20/1 we are on,

HACKMAN came 7/8 at Goodwood, probably a bit out of his depth in the Group 3. This is a step down in class for him and a massive price when all's considered. Oisin Murphy booked which is a positive. I think HACKMAN might outrun this odds if he can overcome a poor draw. 2nd at Sandown in a listed, 3rd in a listed in May, class 2 winner in may, I think he’s worth trying here at 33/1.

    3.00 YORK - 6 paid - 0.5 EW

    DUTCH DECOY 10/1

    AUSTRIAN THEORY 33/1

DUTCH DECOY just keeps running solid. I’ve tipped him 5 times this year and he’s won at 5/1 and placed every other time. Poorly drawn today but 10/1 is still value. Form reads 31322454 in big handicaps. Loves it, arrives of the pace for late finishes, makes him exciting to follow.
