Surely nothing would happen unless we got a replacement in ?

    A replacement bench warmer?

For whatever reason, it doesn't look as though he's going to get much game time with us, so any replacement would likely have to be of 'lesser quality' and be happy sitting on the bench.

I'd like to think that we had an U21 who could do that.

That is true but would leave us short on cover .

I think we need him as cover. Also young, but you hoped ‘blooded’ in Scotland. I thought he showed a lot of promise.

He's 22 next month - and is being kept out of the team by someone four years younger than him. He certainly was "blooded in Scotland", in his six months there he more than held his own against two sides that would grace the Premiership and three that wouldn't be out of place in the Championship. So, just my opinion, he's better than being 'cover' - if he can get the chance to show that elsewhere, he should just grab it. With Morris getting injured yesterday, it could be that he gets his chance next weekend though.

Can Pollock play at full back then?

    Or just central defence ..

Can he play wing-back? Has he the pace?

Well the back ‘three’ has been Porteus, Hoedt, with Sierralta/Livermore in the middle, just a fraction forward of the others’ line. It would be hard to replace any of those with Pollock, but we need cover in case of injuries/suspensions.

Latest striker to be linked .

Although he probably won’t bother coming if he sees the comments made!

The Nigerian keeper off to Udinese ?

What a waste of money he was !

Will we get anything near the 6 million paid for him back ?

It's often, not always, about attitude and ability to apply that matters most. This is where Bayo falls down for me, he doesn't appear to have that ruthless streak that a CF, a #9, needs. Hence, I guess, why he wasn't given that number shirt. Maybe he's a #10. Maybe.
I hope Mileta Rajović is made of the right stuff. Quite a big lad, 6'3".

At the risk of creating a sh*tstorm, I wonder if M Greenwood of Man U would be a good fit ? We have form in rescuing lads who made a mistake ( e.g. T Deeney). We also tolerated M King for a long time , and he had a less than ideal backstory.

I'd be careful with that - the club would probably need to break with tradition and ask the fans/sponsors for their opinions first.

Raith Rovers learned their lesson the hard way when they signed rapist David Goodwillie a while back - they lost fans, sponsors, a board member and their ladies team severed ties over the signing.
