We've only lost one game (to date) but that could easily become two on Saturday.

It's going to be a closely fought division yet again, with plenty of surprises along the way. Whether we can cause any of them remains to be seen.

No one would have predicted Middlesbrough or Leeds to be close to be bottom of the table after 3 games but that's the Championship all over. And right now all 24 teams have it all to play for.

To be fair, I can never remember the championship to be any different.. so unpredictable and any team can beat anyone on their day..
imo it’s about players gelling together for the longest period of time that’s successful.. weird but clubs like Norwich & West Brom seem experts at it.

Ever since I was a kid, teams like Norwich, West Brom and several others have been flip flopping between the top two divisions.

It’s a shame that we don’t possess the ‘x factor’ that they both have which brings them regular promotions

With decent financial backing (which we have) I don’t get it either, a city our size should at the very least, have a club that bounces between the top two divisions as a minimum

I'd actually go a step further, and say we should be more than capable of having and supporting a team that can maintain top flight status

I THINK that under LJ or DH we would have drawn that game and not had anyone sent off.
NOT bigging up LJ - just saying that towards the end of his tenure he set us up defensively not to lose - even at home. That made us difficult to beat but also 3 points were a rarity.

Presume Pring will play instead of Dickie and Roberts filling in at LB.
I wouldn't be surprised to get a decent result at Hull.
I think we're better suited to play away from AG.

Andy King did ok at CB last season, for me he did better than Pring did, so maybe he could fill in for 1 game?

Shows the gulf between Scottish and English premierships - or it could be a freak result - there’s been a few of them lately….
